Prior to immigrating to the Chelsea neighborhood, Halim built a diverse and extensive professional background, serving as a police officer and working in various capacities in the United States. His experience spans multiple domains, including a 30-year tenure as a former police officer, an 11-year stint at the United Nations, and a legal practice in Bangladesh. Since 2020, Halim has been contributing to Chelsea as a volunteer, currently balancing his role on a part-time basis. Alongside his commitments, he also holds a position at Borgata in Atlantic City while teaching yoga.
