Camera Partnership With ACPD

OBJECTIVE   ​

The Chelsea EDC is thrilled to announce its partnership with the Atlantic City Police Department to enhance security and surveillance in the Chelsea neighborhood. It recognizes the importance of proactive measures to deter crime and promote public safety. Chelsea EDC is committed to funding the installation of cameras in strategic locations identified in collaboration with the Atlantic City Police Department.​

IMPLEMENTATION: 

• The Chelsea Public Safety team, in collaboration with the Atlantic City Police Department, has identified key hot spot locations where cameras will be installed. These locations have been carefully selected based on crime data, community input, and expert analysis. ​

• Chelsea EDC access to the footage when needed at specific locations such as Sovereign Ave and Sunset Ave (Boys and Girls Club) and Chelsea Ave and Pacific Ave (Martinique Hotel). This access allows Chelsea EDC to witness the effectiveness of the cameras and further strengthen their commitment to community safety.
